Responsibilities
- Gather information from NNL Leadership Team/committee chairs to promote NNL activities/events/news
- Maintain an updated file of any local publications and media outlets with appropriate contact information (including newspapers, magazines, realtors, homeowner associations/newsletters, Next door, library)
- Maintain an updated file of items sent out for publication and when items are published
- Oversee creation and distribution of publicity materials, including a brochure, promoting NNL
- Work in conjunction with the NNL Leadership Team, Membership Committee, Web, Site Administrator and Newsletter Committee adhering to Club Newsletter Deadlines
- Create and submit articles to local media outlets and publications to promote NNL and increase public awareness of NNL
- Update/revise NNL brochure as needed and submit for Leadership Team approval.
- Coordinate with newsletter editor, revising the brochure
- This is a trifold done on bright yellow paper, one side is in color
- NNL has an account with prepaid copies
- Brochure is emailed to UPS Store, 7113 W. 135th St, Overland Park, 913-851-7711 email- [email protected]
- Deliver copies of brochure to public libraries, real estate agents, homeowner associations, corporate relocation offices etc. to increase public awareness of NNL. Make copies of brochure available to Area Manager and NNL members willing to promote NNL

Responsibilities
- Make sure the NNL Brochures are updated and revised as needed and submit proposed changes to the Leadership team.
- Submit a NNL “invitation” to come to the monthly Meet and Greets by placing an on-line ad (every 3 months) on the Neighborhood Website “Next Door”.
- Check the NNL website www.newneighborskcsouth.org, periodically to answer any questions that maybe submitted.
- Deliver copies of the NNL brochure to public libraries in Johnson County to increase public awareness of NNL. Be sure to check each library’s policy on displaying the brochure.
- Make sure copies of the brochure are available for the membership chairperson to be included in the packet. Also have available to all NNL Board members willing to promote NNL in various other ways.
- Create and submit articles to local media outlets and publications to promote NNL and increase public awareness of NNL after approval from Area Manager
