Red Rose Advisor
All members of NNL are eligible to receive the award unless the member received the Red Rose in the last three years.
A committee of five members will select the recipient after a global has been sent out to all NNL members that explains who is eligible (everyone except the last three recipients) to receive the award in the current year. The club members would be asked to nominate a member that they feel has gone above and beyond in service to the club and with a short reason for their choice.
The nominee/recommendation should have a cut-off date for them to be sent via text or email to the Red Rose Advisor. At that time the committee which consists of the following: Red Rose Advisor (Chair), The past three NNL Presidents and the Area Manager (which votes in case of a tie); will have a meeting to discuss and choose the recipient from the nominees. Then the Red Rose Advisor will contact the recipient with congratulations and ask her to write a sort biography about herself. This will then be sent to the newsletter chair for publication in the next newsletter. In addition, a copy will be framed and presented to the recipient after it is read in the April luncheon. The recipient will also be presented with a single Red Rose.
The club will pay for the recipient’s lunch in addition to 1 or 2 invited guests of the recipient.
All expenditures, including the receipts and vouchers for them, will be submitted to the treasurer for expense re-imbursement.
