To promote NNL to prospective members and help new members become acclimated to the club.

To promote NNL to prospective members and help new members become acclimated to the club.

- NEW MEMBERS:
- A copy of the Activities sheet for new members will be given to you by the Membership Chair.
- Review their requested activities and contact the chairs of those activities to let them know who is interested in it and have them call her.
- Call new member to assure her their activity interest is being processed and they will be contacted soon. Follow-up in a month’s time.
- Continue friendly contact for the first month of membership by extending personal invitations to attend specific NNL activities to new members.
- RESIGNING MEMBERS:
- DATABASE will send a notice out of members who will not be rejoining NNL for the year.
- Mark out the person in your membership listing and remove any email addresses you might have for them.
- Check all the activities to see if they were a member of one of our activities.
- If they have joined one of our activities, contact the activity coordinator to inform her that the member has left NNL and is no longer eligible to be a member of the activity group. She may, however, be a sub.
- JANUARY:
- Ask each ‘ACTIVITY CONTACT PERSON’ to provide a list of their current members once a year.
- Update the ‘NNL CALENDAR ACTIVITY’ sheet with current information
- For those activities that are no longer happening, remove them from the sheet.
- For any activity where the coordinator no longer wants to be the coordinator, try to get a new coordinator. Ask other members, send out a global, etc.
- Once complete, for changes, let the ‘NEWSLETTER & WEBSITE AMINISTRATORS’ know so they can update the newsletter and website.
- Distribute a copy of the calendar to the board members.
- As activities are added or changed during the year, do the above again.
- SEPTEMBERISH:
- Participate in the Nominating Committee.
