Purpose: To coordinate fundraising project(s) approved by the Leadership Team
Responsibilities
- Attend all luncheons
- Arrive at facility by 11 AM to sit at greeter's table
- Sell Raffle tickets for 50/50 drawing. (50 percent going to the club and 50 percent going to the winning ticket(s)
- Tickets sell for $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00
- Have a basket to place tickets in to be drawn at luncheon
- If the 50 percent is over $30.00 it is split to have 2 winners
- Give the remaining 50 percent to the treasurer
- Place a dark pick ticket at each place at the luncheon, put the other half of this ticket in a separate basket to be drawn at the luncheon for the door prize
- Purchase a nice door prize. Limit prize value to be $15 to $20.
- Give voucher and receipt to treasurer for reimbursement
- Draw for 50/50 at luncheon (nice to have a new member or guest do the honor)
- Draw for door prize at luncheon

- Form a committee
- Plan fundraising project for the year (usually a silent auction in December)
- Submit plan(s) to Leadership Team for approval
- Publicize event through Database, Web Site Administrator, and newsletter months in advance
- Work with database chair to do silent auction sheets
- Encourage all members to seek products or gift certificates from the places they frequent. An easy way for a business to advertise.
- Have a donation letter available for all members to give to business
- Submit a list of donors with addresses and items donated to the corresponding secretary to issue thank you notes
- Keep a list of ideas, facilities, cost, etc. for the next chairperson
